Lumenal - 2000 and counting
It's been a bumper year for LED lighting experts, Lumenal. Based in Manchester, the sister company to Unibox have delivered over 2000 lightboxes since January. Despite the increase in orders, Lumenal have continued to manufacture orders at lightning speed whilst ensuring their clients receive only the highest quality product.
Lumenal have traditionally offered a short lead time on their lightboxes, however, they've seen this lead time reduced to often just a few days over the past months thanks to a big investment in the team and the implemention of a more efficient production schedule. Sarah Caine, Sales and Marketing Director for Lumenal, explains:
"I'm delighted with the progress Lumenal have made so far this year. We now have another experienced member of the sales team out on the road, Lee Stonehold, who's been with the company for 9 years. In addition to this, following the appointment of our Commercial Manager, Eliot Horsman in March, we've added a further 3 members to the Lumenal production team.
We've also taken the decision to build a dedicated LED research and design area on the mezzanine level of our factory. The new area will provide our LED experts a great work space to get creative and develop some fantastic new Lumenal products."
The rate at which Lumenal have grown in 2014 shows a real intention from the Manchester business that they are a force to be reckoned within LED lighting.
